It has been a busy week. We have been working on learning our popcorn words. We did lots of fun activities to help us learn them.
We used our fingers to trace our popcorn words on our smart board.
We wrote sentences with our popcorn words.
We colored a sight word book and read it to a buddy.
We played lots of math games focusing on the numbers 1 to 15.
This week we discussed the season Fall. We read lots of Fall themed books and made some fall crafts.
We went on a walk around the school to look for signs of fall.
Our kindergarten garden is looking a lot like fall. No vegetables in sight and all dried up. We are looking forward to bringing it back to life in the Spring. |
Can you see the fall colors in this tree? |
This tree has already lost most of its leaves. |
A pretty fall colored leaf. |
We did not do a cooking project this week. We were busy working on kindergarten assessments.
Have a wonderful weekend. Bring on the sunshine!
I am so happy to see that the most fall loving teacher is teaching her students to love/ recognize fall just as much!
