Our Week Of Learning

We had a wonderful week together despite the gloomy weather. 

We used our smart board pens this week.  The students loved

reviewing their numbers with them.

We did lots of hands-on math this week.

We played alphabet musical chairs.

We studied Community Helpers this week. We pretended to be bakers.

We decorated a cookie.

We shared our families "Job" bags.

Our Week Of Learning

We had a busy week of learning.  This was our first full week of  following our center board and visiting all three of our literacy centers.  The students did GREAT!

In math we worked on our numbers 1 to 10.

We studied our Five Senses last week.  We started this week off  with a fun roll and graph review game.

We played a fun alphabet letter game.

We had so much fun learning about apples.

We tasted a red, yellow and green apple and voted for our favorite.

We got to be Apple Investigators this week.

We measured the width of and apple with yarn.

 We measured the height of an apple with cubes.

  Look at these scientist hard at work.

 We compared the weight of an apple to teddy bear counters and cubes.

 We discovered an apples floats.

For Food Friday we made applesauce. It turned out delicious!
