Our Week Of Learning

This week we were all about dinosaurs!

Our classroom has been taken over by dinosaurs.  We have added dinosaur activities in all of our play centers.

We worked on listening to the beginning sounds of words.

We had a "ROARING" good time experimenting with vinegar and baking soda. We dropped colored vinegar onto dinosaurs and alphabet letters and watched the reaction it had.

We had some wonderful weather this week.  We enjoyed our snack outside on the deck a couple of days.

Work Station fun!

Check out our name dinosaurs.

We made our own dinosaur hatching out of an egg.

We ended our week by making dinosaur print cookies for food Friday.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Our Week And A Half Of Learning

We had a wonderful week of learning and love.  We have been learning about tubes, tunnels and transportation for the past two weeks.  We hope you enjoy looking at pictures of our activities.

Our Auto Shop dramatic play area had been so fun. Thank you to Pocket Full of Preschool for the wonderful unit.

We added trains to our block area.

We created our own vehicles out of different colored pieces of paper.

Look at the road full of vehicles we made!

We had so much fun celebrating Valentine's Day.

We searched the room for alphabet hearts and recorded them on our letter sheet.

Opening our Valentine bags.

Party Time!

We made cars out of paper plates and tissue paper.

We used straws (tunnels) to blow cotton balls across a table.

We practiced our number skills by rolling a dice and counting out rocks to put in the back of our dump trucks.

We ended our week with a yummy food Friday.  We made cars of course!

We welcomed a a new member to our Preschool family this week.  Ms. Sandy joined our classroom on Wednesday.  She is a retired teacher from Salem Schools and is looking forward to joining in all of our preschool fun.

Have a wonderful weekend!
