Our Week In Review

We had a wonderful week together. On Tuesday we turned over the last number on our hundreds chart.  The students were SUPER excited! We celebrated with some fun 100 day centers.

Working hard to put together a 100  chart puzzle.

We got to build a creation with 100 legos.

We  put the numbers 1 to 100 in order.  This was HARD work! We rolled a dice and  RACED to 100 with a partner.

We worked together as a team and wrote 100 sight words.

We are wishing for snow in our class.  Since Mother Nature is NOT listening...we pretended shaving cream was snow and wrote our sight words in it. Messy but fun!

February is the month of love. We wrote about thing we love.

We continued to measure in math. We have become quite the measuring experts.

We even measure ourselves with mittens.

I have said it before...but I REALLY do have the best job ever!

 .
I love that my students ask for their pictures to be taken when they do something they are especially proud of. I have a lot of hard workers

Our Week In Review

We had a wonderful week together. We learned all about Martin Luther King Jr., measured and celebrated the 100th day of school.

We made a necklace out of 100 fruit loops.  We may have tasted a few as well.

Sporting our new necklaces! We are  starting a new fashion trend.

Ye-Haw...we are ready to celebrate the 100th day Y'all.

 B-O-O-T-S!

Look what we created out of the number 100.

We learned about Martin Luther King Jr.  We discussed how the brown egg and white egg looked different..but when we cracked them open they were the same.  We are all the same on the inside!

 We made "dream" necklaces.

We measured LOTS of things in our classroom.

Our "Short" Week In Review

We made the most of the time we had together this week. We finished up our unit on fractions. Our fraction snowmen fit right in with the weather in Floyd this week.

We learned all about animals that hibernate during our hibernation day. We turned our desk sideways and made caves. Learning is so much more fun when you are wearing pajamas and are inside a cave!

We listened to some great hibernation books.
 We measured our teddy bears.

We played a hide the teddy graham sight word game with cups.

We sorted and graphed gummy bears. YUM!

We wrote about animals that hibernate.

We ended our day with a "beary" good treat.
