We had a great week of learning mixed with fun and excitement!
We have been working hard on reading and writing our popcorn words. We enjoy hunting for our sight words in our morning message each day.
Writing our popcorn words with markers was a big hit.
In math we did lots of hands-on activities with our teen numbers.
We watched Stellaluna and learned all about bats.
We compared bats and birds.
We started our guided reading groups this week. I love this special time with my students. We work in small groups to learn strategies to help us read, write and spell.
