Our Week Of Learning

We were so happy to spend a whole week together in Preschool. We had a wonderful week doing lots of snow activities.

We scooped up some left over snow and brought it inside to build a snowman.  We observed how long it took it to melt. (not long!) We discovered snow is made of water.

We had fun painting the snow with colored water and eye droppers.

We made fingerprint snowmen.

We had fun mixing cornstarch and hair conditioner together to make snow dough. Everyone loved how  soft it was.

We made a fun window decoration.  We glued tissue paper squares onto plastic and painted over them with Mod Podge.  Once the glue dried, we pulled the tissue paper off and cut out hearts.  Now we have beautiful stained glass hearts cheering up our classroom windows.

We used our fine motor skills and glued mini marshmallows on top of circles to create  3-D snowmen.

Look at these snowmen creations that we made in the art area.

We had a great time acting out the Five Little Snowmen.

Doesn't this play-doh  creation look just like me?  Love it!

It was such a great week.  We can't wait to do it all over again next week.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Our Week Of Learning

We are all so happy to be together again. We are geared up and ready for the second half of the school year.

We played with shaving cream for the first time this week.  The students loved it!

We worked on our cutting skills and made snowflakes.

We have been enjoying new centers during choice time.

We used our fine motor skills and painted circles with Q-tips to create snowflakes.

 Have a wonderful weekend.
