Our Week Of Learning

We had a wonderful week together even though the weather was rainy most of the week.  We made thankful turkeys and drew things we were thankful for on his feathers.

We did a great job sorting pictures by the beginning sounds of T and P.

We have been talking about making healthy food choices this week.  We played a letter vegetable game to review our alphabet.

We searched for letters in our "grocery bag" and covered them with fruit loops.

Choice time fun!

We have been working hard making our shopping list while in the pretend center.

We "shopped" for healthy food choices and put them in our shopping cart.

Thank you to Dakota's Mom for coming to read to our class.

A rainy cold day seamed like the perfect day to paint turkeys.

Our blog will resume after our Thanksgiving break.  We hope everyone has a wonderful time with family and friends.  We are so thankful to share each day with such sweet children!   Happy Thanksgiving.

Our Week Of Leaning

We had a fun week full of pumpkins!

We picked out our favorite pumpkin and painted it.

We  took turns cleaning out our class pumpkins and creating our jack-o'-lanterns.

Check out our jack-o'-lanterns.

Pajama Day

We had a wonderful Halloween snack. A big thanks to Brody and Gavin's Moms for providing treats and crafts.

 Halloween slime.

We had such a blast cleaning out our pumpkins, we thought we would make our own.  We drew a pumpkin and added yarn and pumpkin seeds to look like the inside of a real pumpkin.

We turned our room into a pumpkin patch. We placed pumpkins (balloons) around our classroom. The

students had to walk around and record the letters they found on the pumpkins.

Wacky Day

Sports Day

We are doing so good writing our names.

We compared pumpkins and apples.

We ended our week with a fun food project.  We made our own pumpkin patch. (chocolate pudding, crushed oreos and candy pumpkins)

Have a wonderful weekend!
