Our Week Of Learning

We made it to school all five days this week. Yippee!  I hope you enjoy looking at what we have been up to.

We enjoyed getting back into our guided reading and literacy stations.

We worked hard learning about time.

We played a game where they were given a clock and they had to write  the letter of the correct time.

We reviewed our sight words with tic-tac-toe.

We learned about George Washington.

We started our unit on American Symbols.

We made flag cookies for food Friday.

We are gearing up for March.  Look how cute these directed drawings turned out.  Lucky leprechauns.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Our Week Of Learning.

We made the most of our days together this week.  I'm beginning to think that the groundhog  may have been playing a trick on us.

We are dreaming about warm happy  spring  days in our classroom.

Here is a little recap from our Valentine's snack.  Thanks to everyone for sending in all our yummy snacks.

Check out these great writers!

We finished up our unit on fractions this week.  I know what you are thinking....SNOWMEN???? This is our last "snow" project. Bring on the sunshine and flowers.

In social sciences we have been learning about Abraham Lincoln. Next week we will learn about George Washington and begin our study on American Symbols.

Abe Lincoln's log cabin.

We used our smart board to do a little sight word and CVC review.

We are working on writing  special "love" books.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
