Our Busy Week In Review

What a wonderful week of learning. We did lots of fun Seuss activities this week. Hope you enjoy looking at our week together!

On Monday we had RIFF.  Mrs. Deremer  came and read some great dinosaur books. We all got to pick a new book. Thank you RIFF!

We received some new guided reading books from Title One.  We are enjoying reading our new books.

We reviewed our American Symbols on Monday and made some YUMMY flags.

We read Bartholomew and the OOBLECK by Dr. Seuss.  We created our own OOBLECK. (Primary Press unit) It was a little messy....but soooo much fun!

We read One fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish and did a little gold fish math.

We had a little fun with time.

On Friday we read with our 5th grade book buddies.

Friday was character dress up day.  We had so much fun!

We watched the Lorax to celebrate reaching our goal of reading for the month of March.

We made Truffula shakes to enjoy while we watched.

We are becoming such GREAT writers. Look at this "EGG-cellent" sentence.  " I like to be as nice as possible."  LOVE!

 Busy workers at center time.

                                                   I LOVE getting special mail!

We are counting down until we start our chick eggs in our incubator. We will be learning all about chicks and chickens after spring break.

Leprechaun Shenanigans

We had a visit from a little leprechaun on Tuesday. He left his foot prints, a rainbow and a treat. We were just a tad bit EXCITED!

I attempted to read Jamie O' Rourke and the Big Potato in my best Irish voice and we made a St. Patrick's "napkin" story.

We discovered that we were ALL artist with a Leprechaun Directed Drawing activity.

We enjoyed sorting, graphing and tallying with skittles.

We took advantage of a couple of warm weather days and headed outside with our snack for some fun.

In math we have been working hard learning about time.

Wednesday was Agriculture Day and we had some special guest come share a book with us about healthy food choices that are provided from Virginia Farmers.

It may have been snowing on Thursday...but it was all sunshine and flowers inside our classroom.

Don't forget to read and log your minutes!
