Our Week Together

We had a busy week of learning. We have been writing up a storm lately.

I recycled an old green bean can into a writing center this week.  My school kiddos  are enjoying the center more than my own three
kiddos enjoyed the green beans!

We reviewed our sight words with markers.

"I will do my best at school." This made me so proud.

We learned all about maps and globes this week.

We made a map flip book starting with Check Elementary.

We had to draw a map of our bedrooms for homework.  We all got to share our maps using  the Elmo.

In math we have been reviewing our teen numbers. We practiced
putting our teen numbers in order as quick as we could.

We had two guest readers this week.  Mrs. Williams shared a book about poems.

Deputy Todd King also shared a book with us.

Our whole school went bowling on Friday.  We had a blast.

For Food Friday we made maps out of graham crackers.  Blue icing represented water and the green icing represented land.

This little note ended my week with a smile.  Have a wonderful weekend.
