Our Two Weeks Of Learning

Our class is so excited about our chick eggs.  They are becoming quite the experts.

We worked on our fine motor skills with some fun "egg" centers.

We wrote about eggs in our journals.

This student made a pretend incubator with things from our house area.

We have a stuffed hen sitting on  plastic eggs in our house area.

We made music shakers out of water bottles and corn kernels.

We watched a video of children playing banjos and made our own out of paper plates, paint sticks and rubber bands.  We had a blast putting on a concert.

We read The Cat In The Hat and made a yummy treat with jello and cool whip.

We enjoyed making cat hats out of red cups and index cards.  We had to be super careful and slow so our hats would not fall.

We discusse things that hatch from eggs and drew a picture of something hatching.

We used forks to paint chicks!

We gave the students big pieces of yellow, orange and white paper and they created their own chicks.

The weather was perfect on Friday to practice writing our first and last names  with paint brushes and water.

 Have a wonderful weekend!
