We had a busy week of learning. We worked hard on
our numbers this week. Thank you to Smith's Store for donating
the beans to count with.
We love using dice in kindergarten.
We enjoyed using our BIG ten frame to review our numbers.
Each morning we talk about what it means to be a writer after reading our daily morning message. We always have a job to do with our morning message. This week we were looking for certain letters and filling in missing numbers.
In Social Sciences we learned all about our five senses. We made a five senses person and popped popcorn!
We reviewed our five senses with a Mr. Potato Head craft.
We played "sound" bingo to learn about our sense of hearing.
We sorted pictures by sight, taste, hearing and sight.
We practiced using our center chart and visiting our literacy stations this week. The students did GREAT!
We ended our week with a taste test for food Friday. We tasted M&M's for sweet, Bakers chocolate for bitter, lemons for sour and pretzels for salty. M&M's were the favorite.
Don't forget to send in your apples on Monday.
Have a wonderful weekend!
