We had a great week of learning. We stayed warm by keeping busy with lots of hands on learning.
Look at all the popcorn words we have covered so far. We do lots of fun things with these words every week. On Monday we reviewed with a Star Wars theme.
We learned about digraphs this week.
In math we had so much fun learning about measurement.
We measured each other with yarn and compared our height.
We measured the length of our shoes with cubes.
We measured our classroom with chairs, blocks, students and shoes.
We got our wiggles out with GoNoodle.
We learned about solid, liquid and gases. We made jello to prove that a liquid can turn into a solid. A yummy experiment!
For food Friday we made butter! We added whipping cream (liquid) and shook it until it turned into butter. (solid)
We enjoyed a visit from illustrator Chris Arbo.
