We are finally getting back into our routine again after a LONG snowy break. We squeezed in as much learning and fun as we could in two and a half days.
We finished up our unit on MLK.
We completed our unit on measurement with a fun marshmallow activity. We measured different objects in the room with large and mini marshmallows.
Friday we celebrated our 100th day of learning. We rotated around to different 100 themed centers.
We have waited a long time to fill up the 100th ten frame.
We were given the number 100 and had to create a picture out of it. I was amazed at how creative everyone was.
100 days of being a school family!
We were given a bag of 100 pattern blocks. We had to create something with them.
We had 100 kisses labeled with stickers. We had to match up the kisses to the right number on the giant 100's chart.
We built creations out of 100 cups.
We worked as a team and wrote 100 sight words.
We were given 100 snap cubes to build with.
We ended our day with cake. It was a perfect day!
On Monday we will celebrate the 101st day of school with the other kindergarten and first grade classes. Be sure to wear black and white.
Have a great weekend!
