It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.  We are busy as little Elves.  Speaking of Elves....we had a special delivery from the North Pole this week.
We voted on a name for our little friend.  Meet Jingle.

We have been learning about wants and needs this week.

We looked in magazines and found lots of pictures of things we need and things we would like.

We had a blast picking picture ornaments off a tree and saying the beginning sounds.

Centers in action.

During centers we have been listening to quiet Christmas music and enjoying our pretend fireplace.

Look how cute these reindeer directed drawings turned out.

Check out our Elfie Selfies!

Look at what Jingle has been up to this week.

He left us some sweet treats.
He was practicing his sight words.

He was swinging from the ceiling

We did not have food Friday this week.  We were busy working on secret  projects.  The picture will give you a clue.

Gingerbread projects are due on Monday.

Have a wonderful weekend!

We Are Thankful

We had a wonderful week together.  We focused on things we are thankful for. I am thankful to call this group of kiddos mine.

We worked on a very special Thanksgiving thankful book.

We all received a brand new book thanks to Blue Box.  Thank you to Arianna's mom for coming to read to us.

Here are a few shots of our literacy centers in action.

We have been working on graphing in math.  We graphed our favorite Thanksgiving day food.  Turkey was the winner.

We learned about the Mayflower and made a craft.

We have been working hard on counting by 10's.

We played an Indian math game to review our numbers.

We had some very special lunch guest this week.

For food Friday we made Stone Soup.

I am thankful for this sweet group!

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
