Our Week Of Learning

We had a wonderful week together.  We had a special delivery from the North Pole on Monday. Checkers the elf has joined us until Winter break.

Checkers left us the Polar Express to read and a special note to remind us to be kind on Tuesday and Wednesday.

We opened up a new dramatic play area this week.  Santa's workshop.

We have a tree trimming area where the children get to decorate a tree.

We have a gift wrapping station.  The students get to wrap presents (wooden blocks) to give to one another.

We have a cookie decorating station.  We are making pretend  gingerbread cookies with gingerbread playdoh.

We worked hard on picking out our wish list items from the Walmart toy catalog.

We made a secret project on Thursday.  We have such good little helpers!

We participated in Floyd's  Day of Coding on Thursday.   We read The Gingerbread Boy  and retold the story using our coding stills. We used the arrows to help the gingerbread get to different  things on our retell board.  We were using oral language, directionality and number sense.

Check out these cute Santa's helpers.

Have a great weekend.  Stay warm!

Our Week Of Learning

It's beginning to look like Christmas in preschool.

We cut out our own trees and decorated them.

We had fun drawing on large pieces of paper.

Choice time fun.

We have been working very hard on being kind.  Our kindness jar is almost full.

We have started working on some secret Christmas projects.

We searched for lettered light bulbs around the room and recorded them.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Science Museum.

Have a wonderful weekend!
