Our Week Of Learning

We started off our week with a shape review game.

We have been working hard learning the numbers 1-5 this week.

We have had so much fun listening to Chicka Chicka Boom Boom .

We made our own Chicka Tree.

We went on a letter hunt around the room.

Mrs. Kari came and had another wonderful music lesson with us.

We got to visit with Mrs. Thomas' class pet bunny outside.

We worked in our alphabet notebook this week.

We made Chicka Chicka trees with apples, grapes and graham crackers.

Hello September!

  We had another wonderful week of learning.  We have officially been together seventeen days.  Time flies when you are having fun!  

Take a look at what we were up to this week.

We are continuing to work on learning each others names.  We loved playing a game where we had to figure out the mixed up name.

We played friend memory to help learn our friend's names.

 We leaned a lot about one another with our All About Me bags.

We worked on a special name frame book.  The markers were a big hit!

I have been reading our first Junie B. Jones book every day after lunch.  The students are loving it!

 We started off our shape unit in math with a shape hunt.

We got to be "shape" detectives and look for shapes around our classroom.

Tuesday was our PTO Back To School Night.  It was great seeing everyone again. A big thanks to our PTO for the yummy hot dogs.

We made shape trains for Food Friday.
