We opened a new pretend play area in our classroom this week. It is a farm store that sells pumpkins, apples and lots of fall treats. The kiddos are loving this unit from Primary Preschool.
In this area we have two visitors and one worker. The visitors have play money and must buy a ticket to attend the farm. They use their money to purchase apples, pumpkins and food. The worker has to take their order on an order pad and then fix the snacks. They can also purchase a face painting at the farm.

The students wear these badges to help identify their jobs. |

We have pretend cameras that the students can use. |
Candy apples are the big hit.
We have fall cookies and apple cider for sell.
We also have a kettle corn popcorn machine.

Food order forms. |
We painted fall pictures with watercolors.
We used our fine motor skills to place yarn around the outside of shapes.
We worked together to sort the tools that Community Helpers use.
We pretended to be firefighters and hosed down alphabet letters that were on "fire."
We sure did enjoy all the sunshine this week.
Have a wonderful weekend.
